the words that go with the next post!

Our Place, Goats & Birthday Parties Friday night we went out to Our Place to eat with Rose and Tom. It was so good to see them – it has been such a long time since our last visit. At the last minute, Talya and the girls decided to go too. We all had some delicious food and got to do some talking. Tom and Jimmy discussed the fall of Colonial Bank. Rose and I talked about family members’ health and the babies. After we left, Harlie came home with me and Papa to spend the night. She was such a good girl. I did some appliqué-ing (?) and after she and Papa played hide and seek, she fell asleep on the LR couch watching the country music count down. She can sing almost any song that comes on the radio – I tell you, she is one smart little girl! You would never guess she is only 3 years old! Saturday morning we took Harlie to see the goats again. They were so glad to see us. We need to remember to bring more bread for those goats – they are always so hungry! Then we went to WalMart (of course) to shop and eat at Micky D's-gotta have a Happy Meal! Next was a trip to Dairy Queen We were invited to a birthday party for Lindsey Cook’s sweet one year old, Barrett, Sat. afternoon. Lindsey had everything decorated so cute – a rubber ducky theme. She has some great pictures on her blog (link to the right). Harlie really enjoyed it and we did too. Jimmy took some photos of Harlie and Isabella before we left. They looked just darling in their matching dresses. Several people asked if we had smocked them and I was proud to say No! (That is just too difficult for me, although Talya says I have to do one for Isabella’s first birthday, like I did for Harlie.) I'm crossing that bridge when I come to it!

The dress is not up for discussion. She has to have one :)
