We celebrated T's 95th birthday on November 16th at our house. JRM and Betty invited around 40 people and all but 2 were able to come. Some from Pineapple, some Enterprise, some Montgomery and Uncle Cecil came all the way from Decatur. He's only 102!

Here they are together

We managed to fit people in and they said they enjoyed it. I hope they did and that JRM and Betty were pleased. I had a lot of help in the kitchen - Pam, Talya, Chip and Charlotte did all the serving. Betty made chili and vegetable soup. Pam made potato soup. The guests also had their choice of ham, turkey or chicken salad sandwiches to go along with the soups. T was so surprised. She had no idea!
And then we ate this gorgeous cake! It was made by Peggy McKinney - chocolate peanut butter - delicious!!!
Thanksgiving in Auburn @ Betty and Jim's. Great as always.

Jarrett helped Grammy pass out everyone's Hallmark ornament this year. I think he helped select every ornament too. We didn't get a picture of the food - take my word for it, if was great!

Harlie is riding Jarrett's rocking horse.
Seems just yesterday he was that age - now he is almost 12!
Speaking of Auburn, I can't write this without talking about our horrendous season, I feel so sorry for the team - they are just kids and they didn't get a fair deal this year. All this coaching mess just ruined it for them. We ended the season with 5 wins and 7 losses. We set an all time record! Rumors are running rampant regarding Coach Tubberville and his future with Auburn University. I hope a decision is reached soon so these kids can have a little peace of mind and stability for a while. I have never been so glad to see an Auburn football season come to an end!!
