More Sewing and Embroidery Supplies

Talya made these shirts for the girls on Friday night. She is really getting good at this stuff-much better than her mama!!!  I thought they turned out real cute. The zebra print really pops on the hot pink!

Earlier in the week I embroidered the bib below for Isabella. The pink zebra print is a tshirt type knit and I had not appliqued that fabric before this. It was not as difficult as I thought it would be. I thought it would be very stretchy and therefore hard to work with.

You can still see the marks I made for the center with the disappearing ink pen. I hope it has disappeared by now. :)

I also ordered another hoop (5x12 inches) for the embroidery machine. My machine is a Brother 750D and the largest designs it will sew is 5x7. There have been times when 5x7 is just not big enough for what we want to sew. It is especially difficult to embroider Isabella in that size!!! Also, I saw this pillow on another site (forget where) and decided I'd like to make some for the girls or for gifts.

Since it has Snuggles of Love printed on it, I guess that's where I found it?!?
We have this font and similar fabrics. It just looks so comfy and would look so cute in their rooms!

Its hard to see, but there are 3 sets of brackets (2 holes per bracket) where you attach each bracket, starting at the top, and work the design down the hoop. That probably doesn't make much sense and I haven't tried to do this yet, but I'm hoping I can do larger designs with this new hoop. We'll see how it goes!!!
Also, I forgot to show the other things Talya has embroidered lately:
The first is a 'genie' outfit for Isabella from the Dharma Trading Co. She looks darling in it!
She made the duck and rocket for a friend of hers.

Then she made Harlie and Isabella Valentine Shirts! I told you she has been busy!!!
