We had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. Hope you all did too. We celebrated our second anniversary (12/31/2005) in Gatlinburg. We had so much fun - good friends, good weather, good food and good ballgame. Well, Auburn didn't look that good - but they did win the game. Maybe I will post some of the photos.
I am determined to learn how to knit socks this year. But I may not try to learn at the lunch table again. PJ is the only one who shares my interest in knitting, the rest of my coworkers just make fun of us. Anyway, no knit shops here and no one I know who can teach us. So PJ and I are gonna try to learn on our own. We'll see how that goes.
I have added 3 more rows to the ripple afghan -mostly while traveling to and from Gatlinburg last week. I have been working on this for almost a year and it is only about four feet long! I made it too wide, so may have the rows going up/down instead of across.
Since my diagnosis of Histoplasmosis in December and after a month of 400 mg of Sporanox per day, I am feeling better. I am amazed at how badly I felt. It is always a surprise to me when I am better - just how sick I was. (I know - dumb, huh?)
Well, am going to try to uplod a pic taken in Gatlinburg. We'll see how that goes:
